Finance and Business Officer

Actual Salary Range: £23,425 - £25,288p.a. inc. (Scale 5)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8.30am - 4pm), 39 weeks per year

Start date: ASAP

We are seeking to appoint a proactive, motivated and organised Finance and Business Officer to join our thriving office team.

 

We are looking for somebody with the following skills:

  • Provide specific support in relation to school finance
  • Strong communication and administrative skills
  • Have strong IT skills, preferably with experience in educational software packages (ARBOR MIS system, RM finance)
  • Competent in the maintenance of database packages and experience in reporting from database packages
  • An approachable, professional and organised person with good interpersonal skills
  • Be an effective team member willing to undertake a range of duties, take responsibility for your workload and work closely with the School Business Manager and Breakfast and After School Club Manager.
  • Be able to build effective relationships and motivate others to improve the school
  • An understanding of the needs of children and young people especially those who are vulnerable.
